To help you make the most of the relaxing setting of our guest house, we have shared rooms reserved for our travellers. This gives you all the benefits of a gîte, with a shared kitchen and lounge, but also of a hotel, with breakfast service, daily cleaning and linen provided !
The garden and its terrace reserved for our travellers
Access to the house is via a private road. The road on which cars travel is therefore nowhere near the guest rooms, making our garden a quiet, soothing space. If you have children, they can play in complete safety !
A terrace with picnic area and deckchairs at your disposal
On the south side of the house, you can enjoy a large shaded terrace. When summer arrives, you’ll find a cool spot in the shade of our mulberry trees, trimmed to form parasols.
The following are available on the terrace :
Weather permitting, breakfast is served on the terrace. So you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the setting and the warmth of the first rays of sunshine of the day.
A large wooded park to relax in
Le Broustaret’s guest rooms are surrounded by a large garden planted with trees and flowers, where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside. There are benches where you can read or enjoy the surrounding nature. It’s also the starting point for the forest path that takes you to Lac de Laromet in around twenty minutes !
As soon as spring arrives, the garden is adorned with a wide variety of flowers, adding a special charm to the place. If you’re not too noisy, you might even spot a roe deer at the end of the day !
The shared kitchen: a fully-equipped space for cooking
Our kitchen-dining room is ideal for making meals during your stay. It includes a kitchenette and dining area.
Here you will find :
Our shared kitchen can accommodate up to 6 people at a time. If you are coming with a group, this room is not suitable for large tables.
If you want an early start or want to sleep in, we can leave a breakfast basket in this room, so you can organise your stay at your own pace. Just ask when you arrive!
The living room : a place to relax and share convivial moments
On the ground floor, you can take advantage of the lounge to read, relax or spend time together. You’ll find books, modern and old-fashioned board games, and even a piano !
You can also take advantage of this space to plan your excursions to discover the region, with the following at your disposal :
- Discovery itineraries by car departing from the guest house,
- There are also walks starting from the house,
- Tourist brochures…
We take pleasure in sharing our personalised tips for discovering the region with you. Don’t hesitate to ask us, during your stay or even beforehand, if you’d like us to share our best addresses with you. 😉
